A Study on Chomsky's View on Meaning

In the period of Classical Theory,Chomsky argued that grammatical theory should not be based on the meaning.In his Standard Theory period,he advanced that meaning should be determined by deep structure.In his Extended Standard Theory period,he advanced meaning be interpreted on the surface structure.His Government and Binding Theory insisted that syntax of natural language be an autonomous and formal system,and should not be affected by meaning.His internalist view of meaning and research approaches showcase that his view of meaning is based on the internalist theory.The present article attempts to reinterpret out his basic ideas and views of meaning and implications in the study of meaning in language.
