中国近代心学被定格为“形而中学”之理路

近代以降,王学再度复兴于救亡图存的时代主题中,其意志主义倾向严重损毁了心学传统的理性向度。在西学强势的持续冲击下,现代新儒家之主流力图以会通中西的方式重建心学传统的形上学体系。徐复观从中西哲学之不同路径出发．以“形而中者谓之心”的命题消解了心学传统近代衍化中的本体论致思方向。

The Historical Development of the Traditional School of Spirit and Mind in Modern Times

From modem times on, the School of Wang Yang-ming revived against the background of national crisis, whose philosophical inclination of non-rationalism greatly damaged the rational elements of its own tradition. Under the continuous and violent attack from the western thoughts, the main trend of the modern new Confucianism scholars strived to re-construct the system of metaphysics for the tradition of the spirit-mind school by incorporating both the west thoughts and Chinese thoughts. Mr. Xu fu-guan. from the perspective of the different ways that the traditional Chinese and the western philosophy went, negated the efforts of constructing a close system made by the scholars of spirit-mind school.
