论海外潮人的恋根情结——以侨领林义顺、蚁光炎为例

辛亥革命时期新加坡的林义顺和抗日战争时期泰国的蚁光炎是近代两位具有典型意义的海外潮人侨领 ,从他们对故乡和祖国不遗余力的支持与帮助的具体事迹 ,可以看见海外潮人极为突出的文化特征———浓重的恋根情结 ,文章探讨了由这种恋根情结升华起来的强烈的报国意识及其所赖以生成的深层文化基因 ,以及这种恋根情结在现代社会尤其在未来的知识经济时代所可能产生的正负面影响。

The root complex of overseas Chaozhoulese as found in two overseas Chinese leaders

By referring to the deeds of two contemporary overseas Chaozhoulese leaders giving unswerving supports to the motherland,namely,LIN Yishun at Singapore during the 1911 Revolution and YI Guangyan at Thailand during the War of Resistance against Japan,this paper makes an investigation into the prominent cultural features of overseas Chaozhoulese--a dense root complex and the strong sense of patriotism sublimed therefrom,and conducts and elucidation on the deep lying cultural genes upon which the growth of this root complex relies,as well as its positive and negative influences exerted possibly by this root complex upon our contemporary society and especially upon the time of knowledge economy in the coming future.
