戴震古音学成就略评

戴震从分析《广韵》系统入手，区别等韵洪细与韵类异同，创古韵二十五部之说，戴氏古韵分部的最大特色是一个整齐的阴阳入互配系统，他提出了正转，对转之法，戴氏在他的韵目分析上虽有一定的不足，但他的古音分部对后世的影响却是极大的。从戴氏的九类二十五部到黄侃二十八部，到王力二十九部，相承线索的很清楚的。

A Brief Comment on Dai Zhen''''s Ancient Phonological Achievements

Dai zhen analyzed the system of extensive rhyme, and made a distinction between the homorhymesof Hong and Xi,and the similarities and differences of rhyme. He completed an ancient phonetic system of twenty-five divisions. The greatest characteristic of Dai's ancient rhyme divisions was that it was an orderly system, which was divided into three mutually divisions: Yin, Yang, and entering. He put forward the theory of right cycle and co-cycle. Though there are blemishes in Dai's analysis of rhyme classification, his theory of ancient rhyme division exerts powerful influence on the later ages. From Dai's nine types and twenty-five divisions, to Huangkan's twenty-eight parts, to Wangli's twenty-nine divisions, the clue of inheritance is clear.
