晚唐诗人唐彦谦才华超人，善于在学习、借鉴、效法、继承前人的过程中进行发展、变革和创新，其早年学温李而有所超越，中年师杜甫而有所创新，晚年仿陶渊明而有所发展，可谓是转益多师，自成家数，为唐诗的发展作出了自己的贡献。

Learn from Others to Establish Ones Own Characteristics——On Late-Tang Poet-Tang Yanqian's Learning and Surpassing

Late-Tang Poet-Tang Yanqian was superior to others in artistic talent and good at learning, drawing on experiences from others and inheriting their merits and developing, transforming and innovating them. He learnt from Wen and Li and surpassed them in some aspects in his early age, from Du Fu and made innovation to some extent in his middle age, from Tao Yuanming and developed his style a bit further. What he had achieved was renowned as learning from others to establish his own distinctiveness and contributed to the development of Tang poetry.
