太行山抗日根据地历史地位论析

Historical Standing of Taihang Mountains Anti-Japanese Base

From winter of 1937 to 1940, anti-Japanese bases with Taihang Mountains as the center such as Taihang, Taiyue, Jinan, Jiluyu were established and became a backbone of the Anti-Japanese War. In the long hard times, Eighth Route Army Division 129 gave a series of serious attacks on Japanese invaders by successful use of guerrilla warfare, which became the epitome of Anti-Japanese War behind enemy lines. What's more, the bases set models for establishment of democratic regime. Their monumental contributions have been written into the annals of history of Chinese national liberation movement. The successful experiences not only were highly praised by people of that time, but leave a historical heritage to us and later generations.
