摘    要:大学英语“语法”在“教与不教”,以及“怎样教”等问题上一直受到研究者和教学者的密切关注。在交际法教学占主导地位的今天,大学英语课堂出现了过分注重语言的意义,而忽略了形式的现象。大学英语教学理论在“以形式为中心”、“以意义为中心”等理论的争论中不断发展。学习者在迷茫之余表现出了对于语法学习的需要。传统的脱离语境的对外语规则的讲解遭到了摒弃。在新的语法教学方式中,基于数据驱动的语法教学将交际和形式结合起来,为探索有效的大学英语语法教学提供了新的方向。

Abstract:There is always a hot debate on English grammar teaching. Language researchers and teachers pay close attention to the issues, such as "teaching or not teaching", and "how to teach". Communicative language teaching is dominant in college English class. Teachers usually lay too much emphasis on the meaning and influence of language expression while neglect the forms of English acquisition. It is hard to choose between focus on form and focus on meaning .With a study of need analysis, we can see that English grammar is necessary for language acquisition. The traditional grammar-translation method should be abandoned. Among the new ways of grammar teaching, data-driven teaching method is applied in teaching English grammar and is approved as an effective way.
