唐陆亘墓志研究

陆亘墓志记载中晚唐时期中上层官吏陆亘生平事迹,兼涉妻族侯氏、母族归氏等。陆亘五任州郡刺史,晚年又三任都团练观察处置等使,吏治有声。有关文献记载十分简略,且有误。此志可补纠文献之阙误。陆亘的官品人格也颇具现代意义。

Study of the Epitaph for Lu Gen of Tang Dynasty

Lu Gen was one of the old upper government officials in the middle Tang dynasty. This epitaph records his birthday, main deals, as well as his wife's and his mother's family materials. He was assigned as the Zhou prefeeture governor and worked there for five terms. In his latter years he was appointed as an observation manager and worked for three terms. He was well known for his remarkable management. His outstanding achievements are seldom recorded in the historical documents and some written materials about him even are not correct. With this epitaph these can be supplemented and corrected. His official integrity and moral quality have modern significance.
