科举制度与宋代吏治

立国于五代长期动乱之后的赵宋政权 ,为了革除五代积弊 ,进行了一系列的体制改革 ,厉行文官政治是其核心内容。文官政治的基础是文官考试 ,北宋前期对科举制度的改革和完善 ,在很大程度上堵塞了买官卖官与任人为亲的途径 ,从根本上解决了门阀政治的再起和军将擅权的基础。大量的没有任何家族背景的中下层士人进入政府机构 ,官员的廉政素质有所提高 ,对宋代吏治清明起到了积极的作用

Civil Service Exam System and Official Administraion of Song Dynasty

After building up state power on chaos of the Five Dynasties, the Song Dynasty carried out a series of reformations of the systems. The core of the reformation was to practice Civilian Politics, which was based on civilian Exam. In the early period of North Song , the reformation and improvement of the Civil Service Exam System have blocked up the channel to sell and buy official position. Many intellectuals of middle or lower level of the society, without any familial backgound, entered political organization and propelled the clearness of official administration of Song dynasty.
