不能以“想象”否弃“形象思维”——与黄海澄先生商榷

不赞同黄海澄对形象思维论的驳议。认可形象思维已经成为目前心理学的常识。目前的心理学看待和界定思维已经超出狭隘的视野,已经不仅确认理性的抽象思维,同时认可多种带感性色彩的思维。想象的职能是在头脑中构造形象(意象),想象不可能承担起文艺创作过程的全部职能、全部任务,文艺创作还需要形象思维。想象只是形象思维的主要方式,"想象"概念不能代替"形象思维"概念。还应该确认"艺术形象思维"概念,"艺术形象思维"有别于普遍形象思维,是形象思维的高级形态。

Imagination Cannot Replace Imagery Thinking: A Discussion with Huang Chenghai

This paper does not agree with Huang Chenghai’s refutation of the remark on imagery thinking,arguing that imagery thinking is already common sense in the present psychology. The present psychology’s definition goes beyond the narrow horizons. It confirms not only the abstract thinking of rationality,but also quite a few thinkings contracting features of sensibility. The function of imagination is to construct images. Imagination cannot assume all the tasks or roles in the literary and artistic creation. The literary and artistic creation still demands imagery thinking. Imagination is merely the major form of imagery thinking. The notion of imagination cannot replace the notion of imagery thinking. The notion of artistic imagery thinking also needs to be confirmed. Different from the universal imagery thinking,the artistic imagery thinking is the superior state of imagery thinking.
