| Abstract: | From a perspective of cultural and social context.the article is intended to define "small ethnic group".a notion which has become fashionable in Chinese academia.After a bibliographical survey and a theoretical summary of the present study on the development and life of the small ethnic groups.the author explains her thoughts of the interaction between environment and survival of the small ethnic groups.based on her field study on the Oroqen(Olunchun) ethnic group. |
