弘扬中华文化建设中华民族共有精神家园

胡锦涛总书记在党的"十七大"报告中强调"弘扬中华文化，建设中华民族共有精神家园"，同党的"十四大"到"十六大"精神既一脉相承而又与时俱进。"提高国家文化软实力"，强调在中华民族伟大复兴中，"弘扬中华文化"的战略意义。中华文化强调"以仁为本"、"以和为贵"、"修己安人，成己成物"，"自天子以至于庶人，壹是皆以修身为本"、"其本乱而末治者否矣"。增加中华文化的影响力，强化中华文化本根的教育，捍卫自己的文化特征，建立自尊自信。我们应当确立起强烈的民族精神、自强意识、民族文化发展意识、优秀传统思想与文化的再生创新意识，把潜在的精神资源转化成现实的精神发展与建设的能源和动力，这是中华民族文化良知与民族精神理所当然地应承担和接受的文化使命。
