摘    要:现代社会已经进入信息化时代,各种各样的信息充斥着整个社会,并进入到社会各个领域中,影响着人们的生活与学习。高校英语教学活动的开展是为了提高学生的英语应用能力,让学生成为社会所需人才,这也是增强学生的竞争能力,帮助他们成为毕业生佼佼者的有效措施。受各种因素影响,我国高校英语教学还存在不少问题,学生学习兴趣不高。为做好高校学生的英语教学工作,微课作为一种新型教学模式被应用进来,弥补了我国高校英语教学中的不足。从微课模式基本情况入手,结合我国高校英语教学中存在的问题与将微课模式应用到高校英语教学中的必要性,研究微课模式在高校英语教学中的应用措施。

Abstract:As the modern world ushers in the information age, the whole society is gradually filled with miscellaneous information, which has permeated into virtually every field and influenced our lives and study. To make society-needed talents out of the college students, various college English teaching activities have been held to improve students'' competence to apply English adeptly, which can well increase students'' competitiveness after their graduation and effectively nurture them to be excellent graduates. Nevertheless, there exist quite a few problems in college English teaching practice in our country on account of multiple factors; for example, students'' interest in learning English needs improving. To better accomplish the goals of college English teaching, micro-course model, a brand-new teaching approach, is thus introduced and supplements the inadequacy in traditional college English teaching. As a result, this paper is dedicated to studying the practical measures of applying micro-course model in college English teaching, based on the background of micro-course, problems occurring in college English teaching in China, and the significance of applying micro-course model in college English teaching.
