| Abstract: | This paper explores the similarities and differences between Xun Zi and Han Fei Zi in terms of their usage and characteristics of verbs derived from adjectives or nouns,arguing that the use of adjectives/nouns as verbs was a prevalent linguistic phenomenon early at the end of the Warring States Period(403-221 B.C.). |
