类比是一种历史悠久且具生命力的修辞方式。在春秋战国处士横议的时代,类比论证的方法和语言形式都走向了成熟。我们以类比修辞的集大成之作《孟子》作为个案研究的对象,并首次建立《孟子》类比的分类系统。可以把类比修辞的研究向系统化、科学化的方向推进一步。

On the Classification of the Analogical Argumentation in Mencius

As a forceful rhetorical form of argumentation, analogy enjoys a long history. Up to Spring - Autumn and Warring States, both methods and linguistic form of analogical argumentation had become mature. Taking up Mencius as our case study, the paper attempts to set up a classification system of analogy employed in Mencius, aiming to further the study of analogy through systemic and scientific model.
