| Abstract: | There are great differences between the Portuguese Nationality Law which will/remain in use and the Chinese Nationality Law which will be used from December 20th, 1999 before and after Macao's returning to its motherland. The greater difference lies in the problem whether any individual can belong to two or more nationalities. For Macao's peaceful, transition and lasting steadiness, the preparatory committee of Macao Zone of People's National Congress made specific explanations to Chinese Nationality Law for its right operation. The writer made further analysis of these explanations. |
