| Abstract: | This paper presents a detailed account of and a few critical remarks about China's orientation in higher education development in such aspects as direction of development, governmental function, system of highter education, implementation of the policy of opening to the outer world to the full, experimental character of practice, gradualness in the advance of development, necessity of regionalization of higher education,arduousness of ideological education, and greater autonomy and individuality to higher education institutions. |
