| Abstract: | Writing is a very important subject in the English language curriculum and how to improve the students' proficiency in English writing is one of the most important problems for the teachers of English to solve.This paper makes a survey of M.A.K.Halliday's theory of Systemic Functional Grammar and shows the significance of this theory to the teaching of college English writing. |
