| Abstract: | Yongju defense battle led by Zhangxun, the general of Tang Dynasty, beat back the rebel army in twenty months, controlled the passage through which the rebel army could enter the eara of Jianghuai, safeguarded the base of finance and grains of Tang Dynasty. The battle not only set up an example !to defeat the enemy with a force inferior in number", but also wrote a song of patriotism, displayed the noble national integrity. |
