| Abstract: | Jane Eyre includes many important dreams,which takes a few and complicated functions.For instance,they foreshadow good or bad fortunes in the face of Jane Eyre and reveal Jane's heart filled with fire to the readers;they symbolize,expatiate,or display Jane's emotional unexpected obstacles and ideas directly.The paper discusses these dreams in certain profound level by adopting Freud's theories on dreams so as to demonstrate and expose the theme of this classical work. |
