Confucians emphasize moral education. In the Han Dynasty, Dong Zhong -shu＇s theory of Three Grades of Human Nature explains that human nature is the basis for moral education. Moral educa- tion can be carried out effectively based on the specific humanity; since human nature is multi -level, moral education is hierarchical. Human nature of ordinary people is the focus of moral education. Dong Zhong- shu＇s theory is instructive for us to carry out moral education effectively, so as to continuously improve the ideological and moral levels of the station at large.
