20世纪中国文化巨人郭沫若论辩

堪称20世纪中国文化巨人的只有鲁迅、胡适、郭沫若三人,要认识和了解20世纪的中国,势必要了解鲁、胡、郭三人。作为"中共文化代表"的郭沫若是继鲁迅之后"我国文化战线上又一面旗帜"。新世纪以来,思想文化多元化,原有价值观、价值体系受到海外思潮猛烈冲击。国内丁东等人以反思之名行否定郭沫若之实,诬其"政治投机"、"文学侍臣"、"无独立研究精神"、"学术抄袭"等,笔者以为,有失偏颇。评价历史人物必须坚持从"既有的事实出发",给予历史的公允的评价。据此,本文着重对上述论点开展批评、论辩。作为乡梓,爱戴崇仰郭沫若是很自然的,但决不"圣化"、决不回护,而是给予历史的尊重。

Speak for Guo Moruo: A Chinese Cultural Giant in the 20th Century

Lu Xun,Hu Shi and Guo Moruo are the three Chinese cultural giants in the 20th century.As a representative of Chinese Communist culture,Guo Moruo succeeded Lu Xun as ’another flag on the Chinese cultural front’.In the new century,traditional values are under attack of diversified thoughts and multiculturalism especially from overseas.Some domestic scholars represented by Ding Dong simmered Guo Moruo in the name of literary reflection with fabricated charges,such as ’literature courtier’ ’with no independent spirit’ and ’academic plagiarizer’ doing ’political speculation’.Historical figures must be fairly evaluated on the basis of facts.Thus this paper debates on those comments and argues that Guo Moruo be worth historical respect without sanctification or biases.
