| 摘 要： | 文章在阐述了城市规划对城市化和城市现代化的重要作用之后，首先肯定了我国５０年来城市规划对城市发展所作出的历史功绩以及城市发展与规划相互关系的一些基本认识，接着指出了我国城市发展中存在的主要问题及产生的根源。文章最后强调了加强城市规划工作是我国跨世纪现代化建设的一项重要战略性任务的基本观点。

| Abstract: | After the explanation of the significance of urban planning to urbanization and urban modernization, the paper affirms the historical contribution of urban planning on city development in recent 50 years in China and some basic understanding of the relationship between urban development and urban planning. Then the paper points out some main problems existing in city development of China and their sources. The last part of this paper emphasizes the basic opinion that the strengthening of urban planning is a strategically important mission of China's century-crossing modernization construction. |
