穗港公共图书馆阅读推广活动调查分析

本文以网络资料为主,调查了广州和香港两地公共图书馆的阅读推广活动。两地的阅读推广活动包括了书籍展览、专题讲座、阅读比赛、主题活动等不同形式。广州各公共图书馆利用各自网站提供新书推荐服务,广州少年儿童图书馆则在网站上有专门进行阅读辅导的栏目和发行阅读刊物。香港公共图书馆通过统一的网站进行阅读推广活动和发布相关信息,并且有具体的持久性的阅读计划。为了提升服务水平,两地公共图书馆应该根据自身情况创新阅读推广形式,拓展推广对象范围,扩大与其他机构的合作。并且两地之间应该互相交流,取长补短,发挥阅读的真正作用。

A Survey of Reading Promotion Activities of Public Libraries in Guangzhou and Hong Kong

This article examines the reading promotion activities conducted by the public libraries in Guangzhou and Hong Kong.Books exhibitions,subject lectures,reading competitions,series activities and so on are widely used to promote reading.Public libraries suggest books which are new arrivals on their web sties.Guangzhou Youth and Children's Library develops a column on the web site and publishes journals for readers' advisory.Hong Kong public libraries use a unified web site to conduct reading promotion and release relevant news.In order to improve the service quality,public libraries in both cities should develop some new methods to advocate reading,expand the range of promotion objects,and enhance the cooperation with other organizations.Libraries should learn from each another as to help readers make full use of reading.
