语境认知与翻译文本的建构

语境本身是一个静态的,包罗万象的系统,泛指各种具体的语境因素,大致上可以分为语言语境和非语言语境两大类。但在实际的交际过程中,语境成了一个动态的复杂的认知系统。在翻译文本建构的整个过程中,语境认知扮演了很重要的角色。译者只有具备了一定的语境认知能力,才能处理好翻译文本建构过程中一系列的问题,如译语的衔接与连贯,负载有文化意义的词的翻译等。总之,译者的语境认知能力越强,译文本建构的质量就越高。

The Cognition of Context and the Construction of Versions

Context itself is a static and comprehensive system,referring to various concrete contextual elements and roughly involving both linguistic and non-linguistic context.But in actual communication,context is a dynamic and complex cognitive system.In the whole process of constructing the version,contextual cognition has played a very important role.Only when the translator is endowed with an opportune cognitive competence can he handle a set of problems arising in the process of translation,such as the cohesion and coherence of the version and the rendering of culture-bound words,etc.In all,the more competent a translator is in contextual cognition,the more delicate the version is.
