| 摘 要： | 由于受汉语思维模式的影响，中国学生的英语作文往往缺乏连贯性，逻辑性差，重点不突出，思维混乱。本文从中西思维方式的差异及其对写作的影响出发，论述关于作文连贯性的理论，揭示了不但要在根本上保持各部分的衔接，还要在整体上把握文章的连贯。

| Abstract: | Due to mother-tongue interferences,many college students in China lack coherence and logic in their English writing,characterized by lack of the focus and orderly arrangement of the text.This paper,starting from the differences between Chinese and English in thinking modes and their influences upon writing,explores the application of cohesive ties and chains to the improvement of Chinese college students'competence in English writing,and addresses the problems mentioned hereinabove. |
