| 摘 要： | Arthur-Waley（亚瑟·韦利）的《论语》英译本影响较大，至今广为流传；中国是《论语》的故乡，中国学者也有新译本相继问世。以Arthur-Waley和丁往道译本《论语·颜渊第十二）中（一）（二）（二十二）三个段落为例，从译者身份和翻译目的、对原文的理解和细节处理、译文的风格等三个方面入手，对两个译本进行比较分析。

| Abstract: | Arthur-Waley's version of The Analects,which enjoys its popularity,has a profound impact on people around the world.Nowadays,there are more and more different English versions translated by lots of Chinese scholars.Taking Arthur-Waley and Ding Wangdao's English versions of the Yen-Yuan 12th as an example,this paper discusses the influence of translator's identity,translation purpose,and comprehension of the original language,translation handling,and style by comparing these two versions. |
