要实现文学文本的跨文化交际功能，译者不仅要有文学、语言学和翻译学的功底，还要有各种文化知识的储备。以古典文学名著《红楼梦》为例，翻译小说中的中医药文化现象，既要体现中医药术语的特殊性，又要保持小说应有的文学色彩。

The Traditional Chinese Medical Culture in the English Versions of A Dream of Red Mansions

This article believes that the translator must not only have basic skills of literature,linguistics and translation study,but also have knowledge of culture in order to realize the trans-cultural function of the literature text.The author takes the traditional Chinese medical culture in the English versions of A Dream of Red Mansions as an example and believes that the translator must both consider the characteristics of the traditional Chinese medical language and maintain the literary flavor of the novel when translating the traditional Chinese medical culture in this novel.
