词义变迁问题一直为语义学所注意。 50年代有人责难 ,人们比较多的是对变化事实进行分类和描写 ,对变因的研究却不够好。几十年过去了 ,把这方面成果综合起来观察 ,得出结论 :现实作用力、心理力量、文化压力、语言内部力量是推动词义 (或词义体系 )变化的四种力量

Motives of the Change of Lexical Meaning

The problem of the change of lexical meaning has been one of the central issues in semantics. But it was criticized in 1950s that people mainly categorize and describe the facts of change, in contrast, the studying in the reasons of change was far from adequacy. On the basis of synthesizing numerous research achievements, this paper draws a conclusion that four motives, such as reality motives, psychological motives, culture pressure and internal motives of language impelled lexical meaning or its system to change.
