| 摘 要： | 19世纪之前,欧美小说中的动物形象总体上是工具型的,其功能主要表现在修辞方面.19世纪下半叶,拟实型动物形象开始萌现并在20世纪蔚为大观.从三个方面论述了拟实型动物形象展现的主题(1)扭曲动物天性的反思;(2)兽性的正名及与人性的比照;(3)生态规律的揭示与生态伦理的思考.

| Abstract: | Before the 19th century, the animal images in Occidental novels generally served as instrumental device, mainly in rhetoric aspects. Later on, they were first used as depiction device and boomed in the 20th century. This paper presents us with the themes revealed by depicting animal images from three aspects:1) the reflection through the distortion of animal nature; 2 ) the justification of brutalization and its contrast with human nature; 3 ) the revelation of ecological rules and its ethic consideration. |
