摘    要:词汇量是决定我国学生学习英语成败的关键因素之一,并制约着英语教学质量的提高。在Hoey词汇触发理论指导下,结合对Coxhead的学术词表(AWL)有关研究,提出利用网络和自建语料库直接教学AWL学术词汇,以突破大学阶段英语词汇难关,全面提高大学生综合运用英语的能力。

Abstract:Vocabulary size,one of the key factors determin ing either success or failure in learning College English,has been restricting the improvement of the holistic English teaching quality in China.Under the guidance of Hoey’s Lexical Priming theory and integrating Coxhead’s Academic Word List(AWL) research into this study,the author puts forward the direct teaching of AWL in College English teaching by taking advantage of internet and self-made English-teaching corpus,with the purpose of helping overcome the vocabulary difficulty in a quick manner,thus improving college students’comprehensive performance in English.
