| 摘 要： | 性别歧视并不是语言本身的自然属性所决定的，而是特定的文化意识在语言中的反应。东西方社会中都存在着性别歧视倾向，因而语言上也不可避免地出现性别歧视现象。通过论述汉英语言中性别歧视用语的表现形式，分析其产生和持续的社会、文化根源，揭示了汉英语言中的性别歧视现象都是社会、文化因素的产物。
