CALLA模式在《英语国家概况》教学中的应用

摘    要:《英语国家概况》教程为英语学习者提供了必不可少的文化知识背景,信息量大,但是课时少。只有把生动有效的教学和学生的自主能力有机地结合在一起,才能达到让学生在短时间内最大限度地掌握比较全面知识的目标。以CALLA模式将元认知策略(即规划策略、监控策略、评价策略、矫治策略)融入《英语国家概况》教学中,具有可行性和有效性。

Abstract:A Survey of English-speaking Countries is indispensible in supplying English learners with rich cultural background.A new approach which combines effective teaching and students' ability of autonomous learning is needed to cultivate all-round knowledge in the provided short time.Based on this goal,the article introduces and analyzes the CALLA model and the feasibility of its core ideas-planning,monitoring,commenting,correcting-by using examples in the teaching process.
