西魏柳虯《文质论》的创作时间及思想内涵考论

由于研究资料严重匮乏，学术界就柳圳撰写的《文质论》这篇反映北朝文质观的第一手资料的理解历来众说纷纭，莫衷一是。本文在钩沉史籍考辩其创作时间的基础上，运用知人论世的方法深入分析《文质论》的文学主张，并对此提出新的看法：柳纠作《文质论》当于550年至552年初之间，当时西魏文坛尚未受到王褒、庾信创作风格的影响；古今文体之争是柳氏撰写此文的直接动因，柳氏用文、质两个范畴分别对应今体文和古体文。以调和古今为目的。
