The Period of Sensitivity and Early Stage Education in the Psychological Development of Children

The Critical Period Hypothesis maintains that in the course of psychological development, the early stage experience plays an important part. If the chance of learning during this period is missed, it is impossible to make up for the loss. Further study in psychology shows that an individual' s psychological development is a consecutive process and the unfavourable influence of the early stage experience and education is not irreversible.
