Cultural Turn in Translation Study and Translator's Subjectivity

In traditional translation study,the translators are in the invisible and transparent positions.They take no liberty of making any changes to the original text,which bring their initiatives and creativity into oblivion.The author discussed that the ＂Cultural Turn＂ opened a new perspective for translation.Translation shifted its focus from the text to the translator.Translator′s subjectivity attracts more increasing attention.Translator′s subjectivity finds its presence in the whole translating process.
