为“形而上学”辩护——“形而上学”在中国现代文化重建过程中的意义考察

由于科学主义盛行 ,现在世界上存在着广泛的贬低哲学存在价值的反“形而上学”潮流。在我国表现更甚 ,将“形而上学”看做是与“辩证法”对立的认识路线而采取断然否定的态度 ,其结果阻碍了我国社会文化从传统到现代的有序、平稳过渡和转型 ,造成文化的建设和发展远远落后于经济的建设和发展的不良局面。实际上 ,“形而上学”对事物本质的形上探索 ,正是哲学的重要任务和份内工作。人类离不开信仰 ,而要科学地信仰就离不开“形而上学”。目前 ,对“形而上学”的彰显至少具有两方面的意义 :一是填补传统文化形上关怀缺失的真空进而为文化重建奠基 ;二是弥补传统文化思维方式的缺陷 ,孕育和养成现代科学的思维方式。江泽民同志“繁荣哲学社会科学”的讲话 ,可以说具有重要的战略意义 ,而纠正以往对“形而上学”的偏颇认识 ,才能使我们对哲学有更深和更全面的理解 ,进而发挥哲学在文化建设过程中重要的不可替代的作用。

Vindication for "Metaphysics"--A Survey on "Metaphysics" and Its Significance during the Period of Culture Reconstruction

With the science doctrine prevailing,there exists a thought that belittles philosophy and "metaphysics" extensively in our times. In our country there is a more serious circumstance. Many people look on "metaphysics" as a standpoint that opposes to dialectics and deny it. The kind of attitude to philosophy and "metaphysics" obstructs our society transformation and culture reconstruction and results in a bad situation that cultural development is far away from economic development. Actually,the metaphysical investigation to the essence of thing is exactly a mission and work of philosophy itself. Human being cant get away from faith. A faith based on science cant separate from the "metaphysics". At the present time,the significance of emphasizing the "metaphysics" has two aspects at least: one is to fill up lacuna that traditional culture lacks the metaphysical concern;the other is to make up the blemish of the mode of traditional thinking that results from the traditional culture and cultivate the modern science thinking mode. Comrade JIANG Ze-mins speeches that prosper and enhance philosophy and social science have the important strategic meaning. Only having rectified incorrect cognition about "metaphysics",we can have a deeper understanding of philosophy. And then,the important meaning of philosophy and "metaphysics "during the period of cultural development will be opened. We look forward to it.
