英语词汇的优化教学:分析法和综合法

摘    要:本文提出词汇优化教学的两个主要方法:分析法和综合法。分析法通过对单词结构的分解而掌握其音、形、义之间的关系,综合法则把词汇放在语境中,在使用中了解其交际价值。两种方法在词汇学习中互相补充,缺少任何一方都无法有效地掌握词汇。

Abstract:This paper advocates two approaches to the optimization of English vocabulary teaching: analytic and synthetic. By dissecting a word, the former helps learners to understand the structure and the relationships between its form, sound and meaning. By putting it in a semantic context, the later helps the learners to acquire its communicative value. These two approaches are complementary in vocabulary learning and absence of either cannot ensure effective learning.
