大学英语教学“中国文化失语症”及其对策研究

通过对江南大学非英语专业大学生对中国本土文化英语表达能力的调查发现，当前多元文化环境下的大学英语教学中存在本土文化缺失问题，并由此导致学生跨文化交际中频显“中国文化失语症”。建议提倡“生产性多元文化主义”，培养学习者的“文化多面性”和“文化创造力”以及本土文化信息源多样化等措施，以强化在大学英语教学中本土文化教育的重要性。

The "Aphasia of Chinese Culture" in College English Teaching and the Countermeasures

Based on a questionnaire, designed for the non-English-major undergraduates of Jiangnan University, about their competence of expressing Chinese culture in English, it is found that the Chinese college English teaching lacks of elements of Chinese culture, and such lacks have led to the socalled ＂Aphasia of Chinese Culture＂. The significance of Chinese culture is stressed in this paper and some contermeasures are put forward as advocacy： adoption of ＂Productive Muhicuhuralism＂ in cultural learning; developing learners＂ ＂ Cultural Versatility＂ and ＂Cultural Creativity＂; diversification of cultural information sources.
