| 摘 要： | 英汉两种语言由于文化背景、风俗习惯和历史地理环境不同 ,对各种颜色的看法和理解存在较大的差异 ,也由此产生了交际的障碍。在分析差异产生原因的基础上 ,提出了克服这种障碍和顺利进行跨文化交际以及英汉双语翻译的对策 ,具有一定的实践意义。

| Abstract: | There are considerably big differences in the use of color words between Chinese and English languages. This paper discusses the origins of some of the color words in both languages, and moreover, puts forward some corresponding suggestions on overcoming the barriers in cross-cultural communication and the bilingual translation between English and Chinese. |
