French Socialist Party’s ideology has been undergoing great changes since its inception.Factors affecting its evolution are: the growing diversification of party members’ composition,the references from other political parties;the adjustment of the domestic social structure and values which make the Socialist Party increasingly keep neutral stand and unclear about the dividing line between the left and right political parties;the impact caused by economic globalization and the upheaval of Soviet eastern countries which made and the theory become more practical and pragmatic.
