When using video materials in the multimedia teaching of Social Work, it is necessary to take all -factors into consideration, which contain lots of aspects, ＂such as the training objects of the faculty, the coupe objects of the faculty, the features of the students of Social Work and the features of the video material itself, after that, the rational and effective use of the video material could be achieved. Also, we should pay attention to the following questions： teacher should look for the materials all around and gather them to build an extensive material library; teacher should tap deep to find the valuable elements for teaching in the used video materials; teacher also should pay attention to the way of using video materials; when using of homemade materials, ethical issues should be taken note of.
