在华外国妇女研究初探

来华的外国妇女正在成为中国社会一个日益壮大并且不可忽视的群体。她们的在华历史,从鸦片战争算起,直至改革开放前,可作为历史回顾部分;从改革开放至今,则可归为现代部分。当今的在华外国妇女按照其来华目的的不同大致可分为四类,而在北京的外国妇女则可看作是这个大群体的缩影。她们一方面为我国城市发展做出了贡献,另一方面也会带来一些问题。在促进我国对外交流和建设世界城市的过程中,对于在华外国妇女的研究可为政策制定者提供更加准确的决策依据。

The Study of Foreign Women in China

Those foreign women in China have become a bigger and bigger population and are worthwhile study. The history of foreign women in China can be dated back from the 1840 War. From then to the period before Reform and Opening, it can be defined as historical part. While the period after R O can be defined as modern part. The foreign women in China can be classified into four groups and those ones in Beijing can be regarded as epitome of the whole.They have not only done great contributions to China but brought about some problems as well. These are what will be studied in the research. And the research aims at providing more academic support to policy makers in developing international relations and building the world cities.
