Re-understanding of Historical Materialism --To begin with historical concepts

In traditional textbooks historical materialism is understood as the application of dialectical materialism in the society. Lukacs didn't understand Marx's historical materialism for he mistook history as one of abstract objects. The nature of historical materialism is that history should be understood as history of concrete individual activities, the whole of life practice, a style of overcoming the style of old metaphysics and concrete embodiment of modern philosophy.
