"三个代表"重要思想是江泽民同志对我们党的性质、宗旨和根本任务的新概括,其中,"始终代表中国最广大人民的根本利益"是贯穿"三个代表"的主线,也是我们一切工作的出发点和落脚点。在新的历史条件下,共产党员特别是领导干部必须始终代表中国最广大人民的根本利益,努力在身体力行的实践中认真解决好树立远大理想与坚定不移地走建设中国特色社会主义道路和正确看待与运用手中权利、勤政为民,廉洁奉公,以及牢固确立人民群众观、始终坚持党的群众路线和与人民群众的血肉联系,自觉地卓有成效地服务于人民,全心全意实现为人民服务宗旨的一系列问题。

Reflections on CPC Members' Realization of Their Goal to Serve the People

The Important Thoughts of "Three Represents" are Comrade Jiang Zemin's latest summary of CPC's nature, goals and fundamental tasks. Among them, the idea that CPC should represent the very interest of the majority of Chinese people is the principle of prime importance, which decides the intention and results of all of our work. Under the new historic situation, CPC members, especially the leaders and cadres, should represent the very interest of the majority of Chinese people all the time so as to make lofty ideals and stand firm on the way towards constructing socialism with Chinese characteristics. Besides, they should have a firm outlook of the people, stick firmly to CPC's mass route, and use their power properly to work diligently and serve the people consciously, effectively and wholeheartedly.
