论当代石湾陶艺的发展

当代石湾陶艺经历了复兴──凋零──再复兴的曲折历程。发展起宏大的创作队伍，出现重视艺术理论学习和艺术经验总结的新风气，形成两大主要艺术流派。改革开放后陶艺创作与生产呈多元化发展态势，但在市场经济冲击下，存在艺术品位蜕化和生产萎缩的隐忧。

On the Development of Contemporary Shiwan Ceramic Art

The development of contemporary Shiwan ceramic art has seen revival, declineand re-revival. Two major artistic schools have come into existence due to the constructionof a grand contingent of creative workers and to the fashion where close attention is paid tothe study of artistic theories and the summing-up of artistic experience. Since the economicreform and opening to the outside world, a pluralist development tendency has been foundin the creation and production of Shiwan ceramic art. Affected by the market economy,however, the on-going degeneration of artistic taste and the shrinkage of ceramic production have constituted potential troubles.
