社会主义:在人类文明的历史长河中

社会主义社会文明是符合人类社会发展规律的历史进步，在本质上代表了人类社会文明前进的方向，因而它内在地充满着无限生命力。东欧剧变、苏联解体所带来的一个直接后果是人们对社会主义文明是否具有历史必然性和时代必要性的怀疑和诘难。实际上，２０世纪杜会主义历史进程中的曲折，恰恰是人们背离社会主义文明规律的结果。历史深刻启迪我们，社会主义市场经济是社会主义社会文明的现实选择，必须坚定不移地做好社会主义与市场经济相结合的文章；体制改革与制度调整是社会主义社会文明的建设机制，必须坚定不移地发挥改革在社会主义文明进程中的多层面作用；以人为主体的协调发展和可持续发展是社会主义社会文明的价值目标，在发展市场经济的过程中必须高度重视社会文明机制的建构。

Socialism in the History of Human Civilization

Socialism is in conformity with the historic advancement of human civilization. It represents the direction of the development of human civilization, and thus it is very energetic. The sudden change of East Europe and the breaking up of the Soviet Union make pepole doubt whether socialism is necessary and inevitable. In fact, in the 20th, century the trouble in some socialist countries is the consequence of the violation of the socialist system. History tells us that socialist market economy is a practical choice at present. The structural reform carried out today is a way to develop socialism, and it can play a multi-dimensional role in the construction of civilization. The value of socialism is to put human being in the foremost important position and to stress the ever-lasting development. In the process of developing socialist market economy, much attention must be paid to the construction of civilization.
