Many Americans believe that America belongs to a middle-class society.Through research,the author thinks that the idea of a middle class country is related to the social psychology as well objective social and economic factors.The paper,after analyzing the shaping of the identification mentality from the social,historical and cultural perspectives,concludes that there exist many differences on the subjective identification of American middle-class.
