在“五四”文化革命旗帜下 ,“五四”新文学取得巨大成就 ;在农村革命和文化革命深入中 ,无产阶级文学蓬勃发展 ;《在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》 ,确立了文艺创作的方向和原则 ,促进了文学事业的发展 ;文艺为人民服务、为工农兵服务 ,百花齐放、百家争鸣 ,新中国文学初见成效 ;十年文化专制 ,文学创作遭受空前浩劫 ;在文艺的春天里 ,文学创作焕发生机。文学艺术的繁荣 ,必须有正确的文艺思想和政策 ;必须处理好文艺和政治的关系 ;必须尊重文学艺术的自身规律。

With the development of May 4th Movement,the new culture made considerable headway;in the movement of rural revolution and cultural revolution,the proletariat literature developed quickly,and the Talk at Yan'an Literature and Art made the direction and principle of creating literature and art,and also brought about a great advance in literary creation.Art and literature serve the people,let a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend,the new China's literature began to have a new look.In the Cultural Revolution,culture was automatic,and literature was spoiled.Now,it survives.The flourishing of literature and art depends on the right policy and thought.So we must smooth the relationship between literature and politics, and respect its natural rules.
