目前,高校工作重点在于教学内容、教学方法和教学效果等方面的改进。高师英语专业应重视教师的专业性与教师教育的职业性、社会需求的多样性与人才规格的复合性以及教学大纲的规定性与教学实践的开放性等方面的问题。顶岗实习能帮助学生体验真正的教学实际,是高师人才专业化培养的一种新模式,是教师职前职后一体化教育体系的桥梁。课程模块化是对学分选课制的有效补充和深化,有助于学分制的实施和弹性学制的实现。

Consensous Reached at the 2007 National Annual Symposium on Normal University Foreign Language Teaching in China

At present,the focus of work at universities and colleges is the improvement of the curriculum,teaching methods and teaching results.English Departments at Normal Universities should attach importance to the three dichotomies,ie,the special requirements of teaching vs professionalism of teacher training,the diversity of social demands vs the broadening of the students' knowledge;and the compulsory courses requirements vs the openness of teaching practice.By sending the in-training teachers to replace temporarily the on-the-job teachers,who are freed from the teaching chores for a period of time to be retrained,we can help the trainee-teachers experience the real teaching situation.It is a new mode for the professional development of both the teacher-trainees and the on-the-job teachers.It can serve as a bridge to integrate pre-job training with on-the-job training.Modularization of courses is an effective complement of the elective credits system and can contribute to the implementation of the credit system,by which the flexible length of schooling can be achieved.
